  participation was the only way i passed. its a "reverse class" so u have to teach urself. literally just do practices in class, we would sit there so confused. u have to ask her questions. acts like she doesnt want to be there, she doesnt teach tho so good luck. 50 mins for 4 days a week for an entire semester ill never get back

  Take ANYONE else. She is unforgiving, UNACCOMMODATING, and rude completely out of spite. Doesn't teach in class, expects you to learn it before, and comes to class to "review" and do practice that can be found on VHL. unnecessary projects and unnecessarily hard. Don't waste your time. She acts like she hates her job and her students

  GO TO CLASS if you do not you will fail. Personally, I actually liked going to her class. She does talk in Spanish for a lot of the class which was kind of difficult to follow sometimes. Doing the hw helps a lot but it is a lot. I would take her again.

  Profe White is amazing! Though Spanish has a lot of work that comes with it, she is always ready to help and makes classes very engaging. She does give a few pop quizzes and attendance is counted towards your grade, but going to class really helps to be prepared for exams. She's great!

  White is the professor you want for 1102. She made this class so engaging and easy, especially for someone who got a B+ in 1101. She made Spanish so easy, and her tutoring and office hours were helpful! The typical Spanish layout, but she wants you to be great, so she is willing to help! I took her over Zoom, making the 8:30 am time easy.

  There's 3 homework assignments a week, like every other spanish class at LSU. Attendance is worth 8% of your final grade. I actually quite liked Professor White, she was a pretty generous grader and often told us what we should study for quizzes/ tests. There was either a quiz, exam, or composition almost every week.

  She really cares about Spanish, but she gives tough love. NEVER forget about the homework, it's there EVERY DAY. Attendance is important, but it sucks because she puts big assignments/tests on the last day before break to force you to be there. She doesn't give rubrics nor tell you what things will be ahead of time, you just find out the day of.

  I didn't like her attitude most of the time. Her teaching style is not very helpful in my opinion because most of the time I didn't know what was going on. She talks in Spanish pretty much the whole time and so fast, she doesn't care if you don't understand. Yes she will answer your questions but I personally hate asking a bunch of questions.

  Profesora White is a solid choice for a Spanish professor! I think she is really caring and understanding. She does speak mostly in Spanish during class which can be confusing. There is a lot of homework but that is normally for a Spanish course. However, I have really grown to love her and she has become one of my favorite professors this semester

  Allison White has no respect for her students or their success. Her only form of teaching are random examples and Kahoots. Want to go to office hours? Good luck. She will be little to no help even if you still clearly do not understand. I am honestly convinced she only teaches to boost her own ego and make students feel incompetent. Beware!

  Professor White teaches at Louisiana State University now and is quite honestly the best Spanish professor for SPAN 1101 or 1102. She offers tons of outside activities to help improve understanding of each topic or lesson because the textbook used is AWFUL! She also makes the oral comps less stressful, by cracking some jokes!

  She is very caring and understanding. The class itself is somewhat challenging, but doable. PARTICPATION IS CRUCIAL. You must participate in almost every meeting in order to get a good grade. Lots of homework due almost every day. However, the class is very enjoyable and she makes learning the material fun.

  Professor White is the worst. She grades unfairly on just about everything. She thinks we are all fluent Spanish speakers which is ridiculous for an elementary Spanish class. She takes off a crazy amount of points on writing assignment for "grammar you didn't learn" even if it is grammar you learned :) AVOID HER

  For this being an elementary Spanish class, she expects you to basically be bilingual. She speaks only in Spanish and uses Kahoot to prepare for exams. Written assignments she takes off 5 points per vocab word not learned in her class (worth 20 points). Homework everyday, no extra credit, attending her class is not good enough for participation.
